What drawing and Abundant Life mean to me

July 23, 2026 | Written by Dylan Rosenthal

We are blessed to work with so many amazing children, and we want to introduce you to one of them. Celeste is 11 and a participant in our Middle School Tutoring program. She was kind enough to share her artwork with us, as well as the impact that drawing and Abundant Life have had on her life.

“I started drawing when I was four years old. I began making art because it quickly became a fun hobby for me. Drawing also helped me express my emotions and feelings. I enjoy drawing whatever comes to mind and using my imagination to create new ideas.

I enjoy coming to Abundant Life because I get to spend time with my friends, and it has helped me become more social with other kids. Since I started attending Abundant Life, I have met many different types of people. Abundant Life has taught me how to pray, how to be a better friend, and how to understand and respect boundaries a little better. I have learned many important lessons that have helped me grow as a person.” — Celeste, 11

Thank you, Celeste, for sharing your artistic talents and story with us! We are honored to be a part of it!
