Join us this MLK Day as we fellowship with one another for this MLK Day. All are welcome. The theme for this year’s event is Living Beloved Community.
Our annual MLK Day event allows time for us to reflect on the lifetime works of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his achievements in beloved community building and equal rights. Each year, we highlight members in our community who demonstrate this love and the mission of our Ministry.
Event Schedule:
5 PMÂ Community March beginning at 780 Prospect Avenue to Buford Middle School.
6 PM Awards ceremony held in the Buford Middle School Auditorium
The ceremony will be hosted by community staple, Sarad Davenport and will feature music by a community member and former Abundant Life Fellow, Jonathan Knabe, and an inspirational keynote address by Claude Atcho, Pastor of Church of the Resurrection and author of Reading Black Books: How African American Literature Can Make Our Faith More Whole and Just.
