Prospect neighborhood students at Johnson Elementary School receive academic and emotional support through supervised one-on-one relationships and year-round structured activities.
Johnson Tutoring Program
Mon-Thurs from 2:15PM-4:15PM
After-school, 1.5 hour academic enrichment time for children who live in the Prospect neighborhood and attend Johnson. Designed to foster mutually transformative relationships between kids and tutors/mentors, increase reading scores, build upon children’s confidence in their academic abilities, provide constructive after-school time, increase children’s opportunities for physical activity, and deepen the school to home connection for their families.

A fun safe space for kids to learn God’s word through lessons, the arts, activities, and music. Now occurs as a Friday activity for children in the Prospect neighborhood. We partner with churches and community members to bring spiritual support, education, and encouragement.
