This MLK Day weekend, join Abundant Life and First United Methodist Church for a free interactive workshop titled Emotionally Healthy Activism: Turning Moments into Sustainable Movements. Led by author, speaker, and InterVarsity Area Director Jonathan Walton, who specializes in addressing the relationship between Christian faith and social justice, attendees will learn how Christians might engage in the work of justice in sustainable ways. Jonathan will address questions like:

– What is emotionally healthy activism?
– How do we pursue social justice in ways that are physically and emotionally sustainable?
– What is the relationship between activism and rest?
– What does emotionally healthy activism look like after August 12th?
